• DO UP your blouse, you shameless hooker.
• This blouse DOES UP at the back and I can’t do it myself.
• The new model DIDN'T SELL all that well so they decided to phase it out.
• The wind SHOOK the trees. / The trees SHOOK in the wind.
• I SPILLED my vodka all over the table. / My vodka SPILLED all over the table.
• He BROKE the chair. / He plunked his fat ass on the chair, and it BROKE. The chair, not his ass.
• Devin DRIED his eyes with a handkerchief. / The handkerchief DRIED on the line.
• The referee BLEW his whistle and STARTED the match. / When the whistle BLEW, the match STARTED.
• I DROPPED my cup on the floor. / My cup DROPPED on the floor and shattered.
• The savages COOKED Captain Cook with passion and some salt. / Captain Cook WAS gently COOKING over the campfire with savages sitting around, dribbling.
• He READS a novel a month. / Her new novel READS particularly well. / The plaque READS, "This statue of someone was put here for no apparent reason".
• The plane WAS FLYING at twice the speed of sound. / I’m learning TO FLY a plane.

• She normally WALKS to school.
• She WALKS a lonely road, the only one that she has ever known, to school.
• She normally WALKS her raccoons before school.
• She sometimes WALKS school to walk her raccoons.
